Colts Neck's Historical Preservation Committee

The Township Committee of the Township of Colts Neck desire to preserve the historical record and significance of properties, structures, and events that have made the Township of Colts Neck one of the premier communities throughout the State of New Jersey. The first meeting for the newly formed Historical Preservation Committee took place on July 7, 1998 at Town Hall. As one of the first tasks for the committee, members have been assigned sections of the Township and will note any historic landmark, structure, site, etc. in which the information will then be transposed onto a large map to be posed at Town Hall. For the time being, Deputy Mayor, Lillian G. Burry is the Acting Chairperson/Township Committee Liaison and Aime Sweeney has been appointed as the Secretary for the committee. The next scheduled meeting will be September 1, 1998 at 5:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
