Once upon a time there were two horses and a dog. The horses’ names were Bart and Skipper
and the dog’s name was Caesar.
They lived with a girl named Victoria.
Victoria
would exercise her horses and ride on the trails. Sometimes Caesar would come along. They saw many cool things in the woods, like birds singing
in trees and baby deer.
After
a ride the horses would get a treat.
They loved carrots and apples.
When the horses would see Victoria they made a funny sound. She loved taking care of her horses
even in the rain.
One
day Victoria was watching TV when she saw her dog going nuts. She looked outside and discovered it
was raining. So she went to feed
her horses.
When
she was returning from feeding them she saw lightning. She was worried about them. She had an idea.
She
went inside to ask her parents if she could bring them in the house.
They
said, “Yes!” But the animals would
have to stay in the basement, her parents said.
So, Victoria went outside to get them.
After she brought them in the house, she went to get their hay and grain.
When
Victoria came inside and saw her horses and dog running around in the basement,
she got on Skipper’s back and rode her. Riding Skipper, Victoria wondered why her parents let
her bring the horses in the house.
Then her alarm clock went off and she woke up. It was just a dream.

Victoria
is in the fourth grade and loves horses.
